With deep roots in Northern Colorado, Chad and Troy McWhinney have continued a family tradition of philanthropic giving through the McWhinney Foundation and McWhinney associates. To date, the McWhinney Foundation has contributed millions in cash gifts and land donations to enhance the quality of life for families and children in Northern Colorado.
In tandem with the McWhinney Foundation’s charitable giving, McWhinney is a member of Business Cares, a United Way program dedicated to helping companies with community outreach and business citizenship programs.
McWhinney provides two paid hours a month to each associate for volunteer time in the community and many McWhinney associates participate in the program year-round as well as in "Making a Difference Day" every October.
