President

As president Peter is responsible for leading the company’s development efforts.

A veteran real estate professional, Peter brings decades of real estate entitlement and development experience, including master-planned communities, to McWHINNEY. Over his 30-year career he has focused on large, master-planned projects and built thousands of residential units both for rent and for sale, as well as seen dozens of office, industrial and commercial projects through to completion.

From working in project management for initiatives that included commercial, residential, resort, industrial and master-planned communities to serving as president of Intracorp Companies, where he successfully led and revitalized the company through the economic downturn, Peter has amassed wide-ranging leadership and management expertise.

Senior Vice President Commercial Development

In his role heading up McWHINNEY’s Commercial Development efforts, Mark provides strategic direction, creating and approving business development plans for commercial office, medical, industrial and retail opportunities.

Mark joins McWHINNEY with more than 20 years of experience in real estate development and management. He has been involved in a number of groundbreaking projects in Colorado including the ART hotel in downtown Denver and the Hyatt Hotel & Conference Center at Fitzsimons Village in Aurora. He has also been instrumental in the development of more than $200 million in commercial and residential assets in Michigan.

Senior Vice President Development Management

As McWHINNEY’s vice president of Development Management, Dean oversees the execution of the company’s commercial and multifamily developments along with leading the company’s multiple building delivery processes including build-to-suits, leasebacks, turnkey, condominiums and joint ventures.

Since joining McWHINNEY in 2002, Dean has developed more than 35 projects totaling more than 2.25 million square feet of commercial space. He continues to oversee a diverse real estate product portfolio including build-to-suits, multitenant office, medical office buildings, retail campuses, hospitality, mixed-use, multifamily and light industrial business parks.

Vice President of Development, Northern Colorado

In her role as vice president of Development, Northern Colorado, Ashley oversees McWHINNEY development in that part of the state from procurement to completion.

Ashley’s responsibilities include sourcing, vetting, competing for, procuring and overseeing all new Northern Colorado development projects. She supervises all aspects of project management from client relationships and prospects to contract and budget oversight and community involvement.

Ashley brings 14 years of development experience to McWHINNEY that includes developing $30-$40 million heavy and light industrial, residential mixed-use and open-space projects and cultivating new business.
