LOVELAND, COLO. — April 25, 2017 — McWhinney, developer of the 3,000-acre, award-winning master-planned community Centerra, in Loveland, is celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Marketplace at Centerra, at Highway 34 and Fall River Drive. The Marketplace at Centerra is a 500,000 sq. ft. retail power center with a portfolio of national brand retail anchors that include Target, Sportsman’s Warehouse, JoAnn, Old Navy, Ross, Marshalls, PetSmart, Bed Bath and Beyond and Pier 1 Imports. The Marketplace at Centerra is 99 percent leased, and a number of tenants have recently extended their leases on a long-term basis, attesting to the continued popularity of The Marketplace at Centerra shops.

Among the new offerings for consumers at The Marketplace at Centerra, the Target store, which was one of the first tenants to open in the shopping center in 1998, has begun a renovation that will be complete in July 2017. Target’s remodel will include enhanced home and electronics departments, an in-store Starbucks, additional self-checkout lanes and updated paint, flooring and LED lighting throughout.

“Centerra’s amenities and prime location at Interstate 25 and U.S. 34 continue to draw businesses seeking to expand or relocate along the Front Range,” said Tom Hall, Vice President of Commercial Operations for McWhinney. “More unique dining experiences and retail partners are planned in the coming year at The Marketplace, and we’re excited about the continuing growth.”
