Tim brings extensive experience in real estate acquisitions and development and leads McWhinney’s investment strategy as Managing Director of Acquisitions. He oversees sourcing and executing opportunities across multifamily, build-to-rent, industrial, retail, and other asset classes in key markets. Prior to McWhinney, Tim was Senior Vice President at Amstar Group, where he led over $450 million in real estate investments, and held roles at LaSalle Investment Management and Wells Fargo, executing billions in transactions. His expertise in market analysis, deal structuring, and capital partnerships supports McWhinney’s growth across the Mountain West and Texas.
