Arbour Square

McWhinney broke ground on Arbour Square in November 2010 and developed Orchard Town Center’s first 300-unit luxury apartment community in Westminster, Colorado. Conveniently located off I-25 and 144th Street, the 7-acre multifamily site is conveniently located north of Denver and offers immediate access to community trails and steps from the adjacent retail, dining and entertainment offerings at The Orchard Town Center.

McWhinney developed energy efficient studio, one, two and three-bedroom floor plans with upgraded finishes and flooring at Arbour Square, alongside an innovative onsite amenity package. Apartment homes include gourmet kitchens, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, spacious walk-in closets, crown molding, double-vanity bathrooms and full-size washers and dryers. Unique penthouse style units on top floors, fireplaces and townhome style living were made available in select units and locations. Onsite resident amenities include an 8,000 square foot state-of-the art welcome center, theatre and media room, 24-hour fitness facility, gaming area, cybercafé, golf simulator, outdoor swimming pool, fire pit, BBQ’s, indoor/outdoor entertaining areas, children’s play areas, water features, in addition to a private interior courtyard.

Arbour Square was designed and built with a commitment to sustainability and received LEED certification per the USGBC Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System.

This property was developed, owned and managed formerly by McWhinney and was sold in 2014.
