Aspen Grove Passages

Union Station |

Installation Information

This group of photo polymer etchings are from the Passage series. The image of the railroad tracks is just after the Georgetown Loop. The other two images, which are called “Aspen Aspens,” are from just outside of the city of Aspen, CO. Every day we make decisions, whether physically or mentally, on which path to take. These passages are the experiences of a decision or direction based on the path chosen. This series consists of roads, railroad tracks, rivers, hiking trails and other regional pathways that represent this metaphor. This work was created by artist Mark Lunning.
