Installation Information

This art work was created by Mark Lunning. his series of polymer plate embossments was originally made for an invitational show at the Foothills Art Center called 'Tim Flynn's Hardware Store.' Photographic in nature, Lunning created these embossments by exposing a film positive to a polymer plate that is then etched and finally run through an etching press with thick damp paper. Lunning thinks of these nine tools as the Pop images of a hardware store. He likes the way the shadows crate the image; they look like ghost tools.
