The "Legerdemain" (Sleight of Hand) series begins with a series of images appropriated from art history, re-photographed, digitally altered and then photographically reproduced on vintage paint brushes. References to specific art sources are consciously removed. The imagery is selected as a direct response to the object that the photograph is reproduced upon.
