Amelia Caruso grew up in Cincinnati Ohio. She attended the Art Academy of Cincinnati and the University of Cincinnati. At the Art Academy, she entered as an illustration student and left as a photographer. She studied photography with Cal Kowal who could be a harsh taskmaster. Amelia knows she is a better artist for it. Even though Amelia is now a painter, she feels that her eye still composes her paintings in a viewfinder.
