Areca Roe works in photography, video, sculpture, and installation to explore the interface between natural and human domains. She is a Minnesota artist based in Mankato and Minneapolis. Areca earned her MFA in Studio Arts from the University of Minnesota. She’s a member of the Rosalux Gallery, an artist collective in Minneapolis and teaches photography at the Minnesota State University, Mankato.
