Based in Stamford, Connecticut, not far from New York City, Don Hamerman works both on location and in his natural-light studio in an old factory building. Don began photographing the world around him when he received his first camera, an Instamatic 100, in fourth grade. Since childhood, he has continued to encounter life through a viewfinder.
