There is a lot of new happening around the state of Colorado. The number of recently introduced or upcoming venues for groups has definitely caught my attention. Here are just a few to consider.
The first hotel in Denver’s River North Art District (RiNo) opened its doors on May 4. The Ramble Hotel is the second outpost of famed New York City cocktail institution Death & Co., which operates the lobby bar; DC/AM, a café bar serving breakfast and lunch; Suite 6A, a 20-seat bar featuring an immersive cocktail experience; and The Garden, an outdoor courtyard bar. The 50-room boutique hotel also is home to Vauxhall, an intimate music venue, theatre and bar, and Super Mega Bien, an independent pan-Latin restaurant by Dana Rodriguez.
Also in RiNo, AEG is opening a 60,000-square-foot ballroom that will anchor North Wynkoop, a new 14-acre, mixed-use project by Westfield Company located between 40th and 43rd Streets along Brighton Boulevard. Mission Ballroom, a state-of-the art concert and event venue, will open in summer 2019 and feature a moving stage and state-of-the-art sound and lights.
