Groundbreaking Ceremony Planned for the Greens at Van de Water Apartment Homes in Loveland, CO

LOVELAND, CO — March 16, 2011— McWhinney will host a groundbreaking ceremony for Northern Colorado’s newest McWhinney Lifestyle Community, The Greens at Van de Water, at 3:00 PM April 7 on Mountain Lion Drive in Loveland. Construction and site work on The Greens at Van de Water began the week of March 14th.
A waiting list is available now for the studio, one‐, two‐ and three‐bedroom apartment homes. Preleasing is anticipated to begin this fall with the first apartments available for move‐in in the winter.
Each apartment home will feature efficient floor plans with quality finishes. There also will be a variety of products ranging from studios up to 3 bedroom apartment homes.

According to Hill, McWhinney also plans to announce additional rental products for Northern Colorado as well as the Denver area later this year. McWhinney is currently under construction on 855 units in both Loveland as well as Westminster Colorado including Lake Vista at Centerra, Arbour Square at the Orchard Town Center and now The Greens at Van de Water. “We have been fortunate enough to close nearly $125 million in financing in the last 12 months through the HUD 221(d)4 and (a)7 programs, which we see as a great achievement in today’s economy,” added Hill.
