The brand new attraction launched last week and will be a weekly event through the fall
Last week, the Union Station Farmers Market launched in Denver with vegetable tastings, Market Bucks giveaways and a chef demo with chef Peter Varkonyi of Denver’s Beast + Bottle.
In its inaugural season, the Union Station Farmers Market brings some 40 vendors together: 22 Colorado farms and 16 locally produced foods and two restaurants. Among them, the Fresh Herb Co., Black Cat, Denver Botanic Garden’s Chatfield Farm, Bean Acres Farm, and Living Land Farm. There are pastries from Mercantile Dining & Provision, bread from the Raleigh Street, ice cream from Fior di Latte, and more. The photo gallery gives glimpse into the scene.
The market will be held every Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Oct. 22 on the north side of Wynkoop Plaza at 17th and Wynkoop streets in downtown Denver.
