Loveland Nazarene Church to Move to Boyd Lake Village

LOVELAND, COLO. – December 3, 2014 – Loveland Nazarene has acquired 11 acres at Boyd Lake Village, adjacent to Centerra, upon which it will develop a new facility to accommodate congregation growth and further expand its service to the northern Colorado community. Loveland Nazarene will be the first church in McWhinney’s development.
McWhinney donated one-third of the land to support the church’s vision for growing its congregation. The addition of the church will serve to enhance McWhinney’s offerings to the larger Centerra community.

The Church of the Nazarene has been a fixture of the Loveland community since 1924 and has called the current facility at 807 West 29th Street its home since 1973. The church’s congregation has experienced growth during the last three years as it has extended its ministry to incorporate a contemporary worship style to attract younger families while continuing its traditional worship service.
In addition to providing ample space to accommodate further expansion of its ministry and vision, Loveland Nazarene’s new central location near the intersection of I-25 and U.S. Route 34 will provide easier access for its parishioners that travel to worship from the north-central Colorado region.
