The Maven at Dairy Block has been awarded the 2017 Mayor’s Design Award in the “Distinctive Denver” category for its contribution to imaginative design in Denver neighborhoods.
Since 2005, the Mayor’s Design Awards have honored projects throughout the city for excellence in architecture, exterior design and place-making. The awards are presented to Denver homeowners, business owners, nonprofits, artists and others for their creative contributions to the public realm through innovative design.
The anchor of the Dairy Block redevelopment, the independent Maven Hotel was created as a community hub, partnering with local tenants to help center Denver’s newest micro-district. Its design reflects the industrial aesthetic
of the block, with loft-style hotel rooms and a bustling lobby. Located in Denver’s historic Lower Downtown district and across from Coors Field, the hotel offers modern amenities and an extensive collection of local art.
