McWhinney, a national real estate investment, development and management firm with expertise in commercial, multifamily, hospitality, residential and mixed-use assets, and JE Dunn, a national general contractor specializing in many of the same sectors, are proud to announce investments to support RiNo ArtPark.

“We are committed to developing thoughtful, vibrant and sustainable communities that deliver a true sense of place, foster belonging and enable connectivity for residents.  We are grateful for the opportunity to join the RiNo Art District and support the RiNo ArtPark in building community right here in Denver in a way that provides opportunities for all to enjoy,” said Kirsty Greer, senior vice president of multifamily and urban mixed-use development for McWhinney.

McWhinney has a strong 30-year history of successfully investing across all real estate mixed-use asset classes including hospitality, multifamily, industrial and office projects located in Colorado, Texas, Massachusetts, Oregon, California, Utah and Nebraska. In addition to FoundryLine, a luxury apartment community currently under construction located in RiNo Art District, they are also developing a mixed-use property at 34th and Brighton in partnership with JE Dunn.

The RiNo Art Park is celebrating its Grand Opening this Friday through Sunday with a free community festival featuring art projects & workshops, live music and more. For details, please visit www.rinoartpark.com.

JE Dunn has several construction projects in the area, including office and multifamily projects in RiNo along with all 3 of Colorado State University’s Spur Campus buildings, “Hydro”, “Terra” & “Vida” at the National Western Complex.

“JE Dunn is proud to partner with McWhinney in supporting the RiNo ArtPark, especially because so many of our associates live, work and play in the neighborhood and can enjoy all that is offered by the ArtPark,” said John Moore, senior vice president and regional director of client solutions at JE Dunn.

RiNo ArtPark is a creative hub in the Five Points neighborhood designed to spark innovation and bring people together through a melding of creative and community partners: RiNo Art District, the City of Denver, Denver Parks and Recreation, Denver Public Library, RedLine Contemporary Art Center, and Focus Points Family Resource Center. Nestled within open green space at 35th and Arkins and connected to the South Platte River, ArtPark explores intersections of nature, recreation, and culture.

“We are grateful for these commitments that will have both immediate and long-term impact.  They are a reflection of McWhinney’s and JE Dunn’s commitment to our neighborhood and ensuring the continuation of our vibrant art district,” said Tracy Weil, co-founder and executive director of RiNo Art District.
