McWhinney Appoints Seasoned Real Estate Leader to Drive Growth in Commercial and Mixed-Use Development

Will Little brings nearly two decades of experience to role of Executive Vice President of Commercial & Mixed Use Development

DENVER – May x, 2024 – McWhinney, a Colorado-based real estate investor and developer in commercial, multifamily, hospitality, residential, and mixed-use assets, announced that Will Little recently joined the company as Executive Vice President of Commercial & Mixed-Use Development. In this role, Little will lead and manage McWhinney’s commercial real estate development projects across Colorado and the West.

“Will’s unique combination of financial acumen, business leadership and industry expertise will be instrumental in driving the continued success of our commercial and mixed-use development business,” said Keith Hurand, Chief Development Officer of McWhinney. “To date, McWhinney has developed more than 13 million square feet of commercial space, with nearly $4 billion of assets under management. Little brings nearly two decades of experience in real estate development, investment, and management to McWhinney’s leadership team. Over the course of his career, he has managed $3 billion in vertical development. Before joining McWhinney, he served as Senior Vice President at Shea Properties in Denver, where he oversaw all new acquisitions, dispositions, and vertical development in the Rocky Mountain Region.

With a proven track record of success in sourcing acquisitions, securing entitlements, leading design and construction, and maximizing asset value, he will be spearheading McWhinney’s commercial and mixed-use development efforts, which include Center Street in Baseline and Centerra South in Centerra, Loveland.

Little holds a Bachelor of Building Science (Construction Management) with a minor in Business Administration from Auburn University and is a licensed Colorado Broker.
