Two mainstays of Northern Colorado’s development and beverage world are celebrating milestone anniversaries, while an Old Town Fort Collins newcomer is marking its first year in business.
McWhinney, a Loveland-based development company, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Over the years, the real estate developer has developed more than 6,000 acres and 1,700 multifamily units, according to a company release.
McWhinney’s current projects include the Elizabeth Hotel in Old Town Fort Collins, and the planned 405-unit Cycle Apartments at Midtown’s Foothills shopping center.
“We are proud to play a role in the growth of Northern Colorado and partner with local businesses and municipalities to bring innovative ideas and dynamic additions that create a sense of place and connect to the existing fabric along the Front Range,” McWhinney CEO and co-founder Chad McWhinney said in a written release.
