McWhinney Names Taber Sweet Director of Development

DENVER, COLO. – January 7, 2014 – McWhinney is pleased to announce the addition of Taber Sweet as Director of Development. McWhinney is an experienced Colorado-based real estate investment, management and development company responsible for multi-use developments in Colorado, Nebraska and California.
As Director of Development, Taber oversees the company’s development process in the Denver Metropolitan area. His responsibilities include procuring, evaluating and negotiating development opportunities. Taber also executes development, options, leases and joint venture agreements to meet the needs of new customers and existing partners.
With more than 14 years of in real estate development, Sweet’s experience includes project renovation, management, acquisition, valuation, brokerage, leasing and refinancing. Prior to joining McWhinney, Sweet served as Owner and Principal of Blu Design/Management Group, a design and development management firm for residential, commercial and multi-family projects.
Sweet is deeply involved in his community and is a member of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and the One World Heart Project. He also serves as a mentor for Minds Matter and is a supporter of the Denver Kids organization.
