McWhinney Real Estate Appoints Asset Management Leader to Oversee Commercial Properties
Jason Bost rejoins McWhinney as SVP of Commercial Asset & Property Management.
DENVER – May 7, 2025 – McWhinney, a Colorado-based real estate investor and developer in commercial, multifamily, hospitality, residential, and mixed-use assets, announced that Jason Bost has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Commercial Asset and Property Management. In this role, Bost will oversee major tenant relationships, budgeting, forecasting, capital projects, brand experience compliance, leasing, broker relationships, support new development delivery, and lead the management of the Commercial Property Management team.
Bost is returning to the firm, having previously served as McWhinney’s Vice President of Asset Management.

Bost brings a strong track record of maximizing portfolio value through strategic leasing and operational excellence across office, industrial and retail assets. In his former role at McWhinney, Bost oversaw the performance of a 2.3-million-square-foot mixed-use portfolio. In his new role, he will coordinate with various partners at McWhinney on new development, acquisitions, lease-up, dispositions, Fund portfolio management, and capital markets. He will also facilitate strategic asset plans and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Before rejoining McWhinney, Bost served as Vice President at Prologis, where he spearheaded financial underwriting and due diligence for multi-billion-dollar portfolio transactions, including a $4 billion acquisition. He has also held senior asset management roles at Dalfen Industrial and J. Herzog & Sons, managing portfolios as large as 5.9 million square feet and completing over 350 lease transactions across the country. Bost holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.
