The Rangeview Three office building in Centerra, 2915 Rocky Mountain Ave., has earned silver certification through the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.
It earned the designation from the U.S. Green Building Council. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, or LEED, is the council’s rating system for designing and constructing energy-efficient buildings. Rangeview Three is developer McWhinney’s first LEED-certified building at Centerra.
McWhinney planned Rangeview Three, a 61,000-square foot office building, with an emphasis on tenant health, comfort, productivity and preserving the surrounding natural environment, according to a press release from the company. Temperature, humidity and ventilation controls, low-emitting volatile organic compound materials, maximum natural lighting and outdoor views, bicycle storage, showers and changing rooms are included in the building’s design.
