VanDyne SuperTurbo Expands to New Facility at Centerra

LOVELAND, COLO. – August 8, 2013 – VanDyne SuperTurbo™, a highly-specialized clean energy organization, has relocated its corporate headquarters and primary research facility to Centerra. VanDyne’s new space includes 10,830 square feet of office and industrial space at McWhinney’s Precision Office Park at Centerra located off Test Drive and Rocky Mountain Avenue. VanDyne will continue to operate product durability test cells at CSU’s Engines and Energy Conversion Lab in Fort Collins.
In September 2009, VanDyne SuperTurbo™ spun out of Woodward as a standalone company. The Company focuses on the design, development and production of the SuperTurbo™ for the global automotive market and heavy-duty engine manufacturers. The SuperTurbo™ is a next generation efficiency device that facilitates emission reduction and fuel efficiency improvement for any type of combustion engine. The SuperTurbo™ has continued to gain acceptance from both the U.S. government and engine OEMs in North America, Japan and Germany. VanDyne has won several awards, grants and development contracts, and in 2010 was named Cleantech Emerging Company of the Year by the Colorado Cleantech Industry Association (CCIA).

VanDyne SuperTurbo™ is a small but growing collaborative organization that currently employs 20 and typically hires graduate students from the CSU Engine Lab. “Expanding in Northern Colorado allows us to grow our Company’s solutions globally and increase our research and development capabilities now and in the future,” stated Mark Herbst, VanDyne SuperTurbo™ President and Chief Operating Officer. “We toured over 30 properties throughout Northern Colorado and the building at Centerra is a perfect fit.
