The Crawford Hotel opened on July 26, 2014. Guests can now enjoy a stay in a piece of history located inside Denver’s historic Union Station. Named after urban preservationist and Union Station partner Dana Crawford, the hotel occupies the upper floors of the north and south wings of the station.
The Crawford Hotel’s 112-uniquely decorated guest rooms reflect the different eras of the building’s history and the hotel design features historical items on the wall and art from local Colorado artists. The one-of-a-kind rooms are inspired by the urban characteristics of Denver and the Lower Downtown Denver neighborhood that evolved around Union Station.
A stay at The Crawford Hotel places guests steps away from Denver’s most exciting Colorado-based dining options featuring: Snooze – an A.M. Eatery; Stoic & Genuine, Mercantile Dining & Provision; and Acme Delicatessen.
Union Station’s Great Hall serves as Denver’s new living room where guests enter the hotel’s main entrance and lobby. Before stepping off the Light Rail and Amtrak train, guests have the ability to check in via their mobile phones. After getting settled in, Crawford hotel guests will enjoy unwinding at the Cooper Lounge or Pigtrain Coffee Co. and shop at locally-owned Bloom, 5 Green Boxes and Tattered Cover Book Store.
