Hyatt Centric Austin

McWhinney, in partnership with Hyatt Hotels Corporation opened Austin’s first Hyatt Centric hotel, a 246-room boutique property in February 2023.

The new Austin Hyatt Centric is located steps from the historic Paramount Theatre, conveniently situated at the corner of Congress Avenue and Eighth Street in Austin, TX. This vibrant Austin boho-chic designed hotel offers standard and suite rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, city views, in addition to a second-floor bar, onsite restaurant, meeting space, and an eclectic eighth-floor outdoor lounge and bar. Guests will also enjoy access to a 24-hour fitness center.

The hotel also offers a 1,400 square-foot top floor presidential suite with panoramic city views and a curated art collection by local Austin-area artists can be enjoyed throughout the 31-story hotel.

Luminaire, the hotel’s full-service onsite restaurant evokes seasonal Texas fare, crafted cocktails, and charcuterie offerings.
