Managing Director, Institutional Capital Markets

As a Managing Director of Capital Markets at McWhinney, Logan Sheffield is responsible for raising institutional capital and further institutionalizing the firm’s processes and procedures. Logan’s experience in real estate private equity, capital formation, and institutional fundraising has resulted in strategic vision and deep understanding of the dynamics of the capital markets.

Prior to McWhinney, Logan was a Managing Director at Graceada Partners where he spearheaded institutional capital raising efforts for the firm’s closed-end fund.  Prior to Graceada Partners, Logan was a Managing Director at PEG Companies where he led the firm’s institutional capital markets efforts. Earlier in his career, Logan spent time at industry leaders Partners Group, Trammell Crow Company, and JP Morgan.

Logan’s focus centers on steering McWhinney’s future towards a landscape characterized by sustainable growth and expanded investor relationships. His leadership and diligence, along with his comprehensive understanding of investment structures and capital markets, play a pivotal role in positioning McWhinney as a premier choice for institutional investors.

Logan received his BS in Finance from Brigham Young University and his MBA from The Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
